hey, i made my choice, i'm going to use a Derby. i read somewere that they should be corked before use, is there any validity to that and how is it done?
Yes, styrofoam will work. So will that green foam that florists use to build centerpieces.sweet lol sound good i'll try one side of my face uncorked and one side corked. i read in the same thread that it can be done with styrofoam aswell?
No, not really. I know some suggest corking will make blades smoother, but I think it is just another one of those urban shaving myths. The supposition that imprecisely dragging a micro-edged blade across a surface like cork will somehow result in a smoother or straighter blade just defies all logic. IMHO. YMMV.is there any validity to that
