cold shave during the summer

Every summer during the hot weather i shave with cold tap water and really enjoy the experience.
hope you will try the same feels cool and clean. Menthol is great but all scents feel wonderfull.

I've recently taken up cold water shaving and seem to get an ever so slightly closer shave as a result with no extra irritation. I don't have an explanation but it's a nice benefit. The challenge is seeing if I can continue with the cold water when winter comes.

There a few cold water shavers here. I starting shaving with cold water to help with irritation, and seems to work. So now I just use cold water all year round.

I do it occasionally, especially if it's one of my after golf too warm of a day shaves. It's nice, but for me the results don't seem to be any different from a warm water shave.

My skin just doesn’t react well to cold water shaves, it gives a strange feel after a few days.
a month ago there was a problem with the hot water in my shower, I was late though so jumped in anyway.
Not nice but I mustve liked something about it as I’ve chosen to take a freezing cold shower every morning since. Very refreshing.
I still do a hot water shave though.

Not too long ago I would have said cold water is a no no for me. All I can say is that occasionally I am wrong. Cold water shaves are now a go go.

I am in SW Louisiana and we are in the same boat. The last 10 days are as hot as I have experienced in my 50 years. Its so hot we have no humidity, and that's rare. Pool water feels like warm ****.

Not a fan. Just warm in summer, hotter during the cold months, and we have many cold months.

I don't cold shave in the summer, more of a tepid water shave. But I do like to keep my Bootlegger's Green Freeze and Artic Lime Blast in the refrigerator during the dog days of Summer.
