I think the iKon was made and sold first. Have to remember that that doesn't necessarily mean it was patented first. I guess that's why the SBS (both versions) are no longer being produced.

Thing is that iKon's early efforts were very public on the shaving forums, I'm not sure Rockwell's were but they submitted a patent app before Greg posted about his razor. There is no iKon patent of course. I don't know if the patent issue is the reason production stopped or not (Ikon razors are made in Thailand and have distribution outside the reach of US patents).

Beauties all! What is the little round tube for? It only seems to be in the round box version? The Bohin I had a few years ago was boxless. Quite a good shaver and certainly an interesting variant on the razor design.
Reeaaally liitttle styptic pencil - nub, really...
