Result: |Honed this razor fresh today. 200 X's on the CNat and an additional 100 laps on the leather and it was a pretty good shave! It was a DFS shave. The Alum left me with hardly any feedback and no nicks, burn, weepers or stingers. So far no bad bumps either.
No pic today, to busy on the hones!!!

Col. Conk all-metal Trac-II handle, CVS cartridge
I followed the instructions on Ogallala Bay Rum's website (as suggested in the Shaving Soap forum here), of soaking my brush in the mug that has the soap at the bottom of it. Holy wow did that ever soften up the soap. I squeezed out my brush and the soap just exploded with "BIG" amounts of slick lather. Great shave.
