Antique Century brushes

Gents:

My Dad--a great guy--picked up these two little guys at an auction. I have no idea as to their provenance.

All I can see is what is stamped on the base:

Century
Pure Badger Hair

I haven't been able to find out much about these so far, but I haven't had a lot of time to research yet. So, your opinions and input about how old they may be, where they were made, etc. are appreciated.

Best,

Chris

Still no idea where they were made--US, UK--nor what the handle material is, but it seems the colour is a result of fade or age.

It looks like the stamp on the bottom says "CENTURY"

That was stupid. I just read the title of the thread. It says Century.
