I agree it’s a tad risky but if you must have a de in carry on I would think the safest bet would to take the razor apart and travel without blades but that defeats the purpose as it’s hit or miss finding blades in stores so…

Is that a Reebok Pump? Do you push that little half basketball to inflate the razor?

Flying in the US with my DE for the last 6 years...I always carry a DE in my carry on Dopp Kit (in my carry on bag). It is dis-assembled and the 3 parts are in different compartments in my Dopp kit. I place my DE blades in my checked luggage. I have never had my Dopp kit opened and I have never had any DE blades confiscated from my checked bag. Since 2020 I take a Henson AL13, and prior to 2020, a Merkur Progress or 34C. I have only been wet shaving since 2017.
