Though I did just read that this "Absinthe Refined" actually has "Southern-wormwood" instead of the typical wormwood. Seems to react the same to cold water though, goes from clear-green to cloudy white-green. The flavor changes a bit as well.

St. George Spirits makes a great bottle for around $80. You can order it online from a link on their site. Made in the good ol' u.s. of a and one of the better ones out there. IMHO.

I Googled Absinthe is leagle to posess in the United States, but cannot be sold in bars or liquor stores. I've never tried it and probably won't.

Thanks to everyone who has posted so far. You guys have backed up a lot of the research I have been doing on Absinthe. I think I may go out and grab a bottle of Lucid or Kubler tonight. I figure it is a good place to start, and then work my way to some of the Jades. Happy drinking and the next will be in everyone's honor!
