Christmas shave and #359 on the year. Lather was as good as it gets. One of those shaves where you'd like to keep going to feel and smell the lather. This mulled wine scent is my Christmas soap.

We are down to the last 7 shaves now gents and I am proud to be completing my second 365 shaves challenge. Tonight no MdC Monday as it's Christmas and that means it's time for my unobtanium Fine Lavender Pour Homme. Muhle Monday though goes without saying, to be fair most days are Muhle Mondays for me, as the manufacturer of most of my favourite gear it is a bit hard to avoid using something made by them in my den. I did get CK In2U a/s and a Proraso Green cream and balm set. I see a Proraso Green shave before the end of the year. I will use up the balm over the next few months. Just as you think you're knocking your gear into shape you end up with more.
Oh yeah I shaved today and the result was fantastic, it makes me want to use FLPH much more often.

Tonight I decided on a Proraso Green shave to start using the Proraso Green I was gifted for Christmas. So I started with the sample of Pre-Shave and then lathered up the cream with the Evil Zebra. I had forgotten just how much menthol was in it and it was quite an assault on the senses, particularly the Pre-Shave. The shave was very comfortable and got a good result and though not a BBS it was much better than expected, even if I nearly passed out from huffing menthol.
