I've been lurking and studiously avoiding temptation. Looking back, I have barely dented my horde - except for my favorite Nivea aftershave balm.

I guess I'll go report for duty with Snoopy...

My objective in restraint was to get control over buying razors and blades and brushes. I made it for the year and will take the moral victory. May reenlist for 2018 but need to figure out supplies. Just about out of soap and balm.

Ruckin made it and while I did use up some of my backlog... I still have 63 unopened soaps and 2300+ blades. To put it in perspective I opened 12 de blades in 2017 with the most recent being opened on Dec 29... I finished 5 soaps but three were creams and one of the soaps I was 3017ing since Dec 2015.

2017 is two in a row. I will be on the 2018 thread to make it three in a row.

Made it without issue. Proraso Cypress & Vetyver and a mirror for shaving in the shower are on the way. During the last year I took up shaving in the shower instead of after. Held off on buying a mirror until the restock period for the 2018 restraint. Not sure I’ll restock with anything else. Congrats to all the other survivors!

we did it, yay! I never thought I would make it this far. I almost failed in the first quarter.

What this has taught me is that stuff is by and large not necessary. For my restock I bought a cream, a balm, and... that's it. I've gotta sell off a lot of stuff before I contemplate buying a whole lot more.

I am not in for next year, as I don't have a huge accumulation. Regardless, many thanks to you gents who make this possible!

This is the 2nd one I have survived and I'm "finally feeling like I have it under control"!

That said, after I 3017 several soaps, creams and after shave lotions during January (due to the restraint this has "FORCED" on me) I will buy "a few items!!"

Hi,

4 for 4 here. Made the Haul and looking forward to my Ace.

I think I might sign on for a 6th year and run the thing for 2019. When the 2018 was slow in being started, I worked up a theme. If it had been delayed one more day, I would have sprung my idea on the world. So, maybe come Dec 1st.... Until then, be seeing you in the skies over France.

I did go a bit crazy during the restock. I bought a tube of nivea pre shave and an atomizer for my 400ml bottles of aftershave.
