Excellent Wednesday photos and posts, gentlemen. Thanks to all of you for your exceptional artwork and verbal SOTDs.

@skypsyd - Beautiful memorial photo, Dave.
@melyus - Sweet picture. Stunning brush.
@alfredus - Love your tunnel-like shots. Everything is choice: setting, razor and brush placement, color, lighting....
@JBO667 - (1) Nice orientation pic. Like the comments. (2) Think you found a key ingredient! Supreme lather!
@ronindug - Very good lighting. Great razor combo. Lovely brush.
@ClaudioBP - Excellent closeup. Love the angle on the G-Bar.
@Dagwoodz - Love hat-tricks, Josh. Great wide horizontals on all the shots. Good musical accompaniment.
@Clint64 - Fine textured setting for Round Two. First-rate closeup.
@Mostho - Really like the close positioning around the brush as center, Stefano. The vignetting highlights the dimmed spotlighting.
@UngerWoo - A regal shave.
@Sdm84 - Arresting photo, Owen. Like your use of the Clubman.
@gemini68j - Handsome Arko shave.
@Tenergy - Superb shot of a classy shave, Valeri.
@Rusty Blade - I like this multi-shaded photo.
@Cash_Stronomer - Ah, autumn leaves.... Great autumn colors. There's a sense of stopped motion in this shot.
@eezee - As always a well crafted pic. Sandalwood and bay rum ... what's not to like?
@Doug57 - The Fat and Skin Bracer ... that's making a statement. Like it, Doug.
@mcdig - Exquisite photo, Mark. A crème de la crème shave.
@LoungeLizard - Like the layout against the tiling, Larry. Neat, colorful razor support.
@imcndn - Good looking shave. How does the Hâttric pair with the Latha Lavanda?
@Bobcat - Excellent lineup, Bob.
@shm - Whoa! Splendid low level closeup, Søren.
@cmh737 - Sharp photo. Love the blue.
@Jnatcat - Lovely accoutrements, Will.
@doc47 - Touching photo, Dan. Very nicely done.
@blzrfn - Outstanding photo, Dave. Beautiful clone set.
@dudesweet157 - Great close-in shot, David.
@CT23 - Quite a picture, Chris. Love the leafy canopy and pedestel.
@caus24 - That's a WOW closeup!
@Loei - Fine looking shave.
@Claredh123 - Pretty good looking elements. Hope the lather improves.
@blexa - Nicely displayed.
@samlark - So the Switchback top cap fits on the 400 base? How do you like the horse hair knot, Sammy?
@richardjl41 - Sweet little setup, Richard. Like the angled soap lid.
@ram57 - Now that's what I call nice framing! Magnificient photo.
@Hanover - Striking picture, Mark. Great lighting.
@nikonNUT - That shave looks great to me. I'll be trying out my Leviathan in the morning.
@TheKushFather - An exceptional grouping.
@sandstone - Against the red the blue and green are vibrant. Bravo, Phil!
@Quink - Accomplished POV shot, JC. Nice moustache cup/mug.

I hope everyone is having a great evening. 'Til the morrow, gents. Be seeing you.

Thank you, Ron. Enjoyed your commentary as always. :001_smile

Friday has been another outstanding day for SOTDs, gentlemen.

Beautiful photographs and excellent verbal posts have been plentiful. Thanks for each contribution whether visual or textual.

@skypsyd - Elegant photo, Dave. Great vintage soap and cologne. Love the brush.
@alfredus - Great perspective shot. The processing gives a very outré appearance. Neat reflection in the brush handle.
@JBO667 - Interesting photos and description.
@ronindug - Nice close-in picture. I'm intrigued by the razor. How did you like the Star Noir?
@ClaudioBP - You can almost feel the knurling in this photo.
@Dagwoodz - Very tasteful picture, Josh. Like the placement of razor and brush.
@Jnatcat - Quite attractive, Will. That's a fine bottle.
@Clint64 - Extremely accomplished shot. Quality accoutrements. Beautiful brush.
@UngerWoo - Skillful arrangement.
@cmh737 - Lovely pic, Chris. Love the tilted Tabac and the Super Speed alignment.
@Cash_Stronomer - You find the greatest settings. Really love the bits of color in the forefront. The razor looks much nicer than price would indicate.
@lindyhop66 - Striking photo!
@Doug57 - Excellent POV, Doug.
@Bobcat - That blade is a wonder, Bob!
@shm - Stately photo, Søren. Open razor and standing blade is a nice touch.
@blzrfn - Superb shot, Dave. The brush is a beaut! Neat razor stand too.
@CT23 - Exceptional picture, Chris. The low light is perfect.
@samlark - Thanks for the multiple knot picture, Sammy. I really should get a horse hair brush. Nice looking shave.
@doc47 - Another fine tribute photo, Dan.
@Loei - Handsome shot. Nice angle on the straight.
@LoungeLizard - That is a blue shave, Larry. I think you like the Proraso.
@Noire - Wonderful close up. Fine looking razor and snazzy brush.
@azwetshaver - First-rate overhead of a neat clustering, Gabe. Pretty good shaving elements I'd say.
@Navarrsky - Outstanding presentation. Like the Rémy Martin accent.
@ram57 - Beautiful photo. Striking brush. How was the Douceur de Cando?
@PACO GALAN - Bravo! A Tabac shave is a great shave.
@dudesweet157 - Like the close focus on the razor head, David. Fine design.
@Sdm84 - Nice shot of the Shovelhead, Owen. I agree with you on Speick scent and performance. It is on my list.
@sarimento1 - Stunning picture. Flawless array.
@Vesalio - Eye-catching setup. Looks to be a top-class shave.
@Hanover - Marvelous photo, Mark. Love your arrangement.
@Ralph - Fine set up. I like your bowl.
@Quink - Love the close up, JC. I've not used the Dorco Prime but the Dorcos I have shaved with were fine for four or five shaves (more than most find them).
@joe2k1 - Good looking set up. All the B&M Lathas I've tried have been great. Nice looking Schick. Did it shave well? I have one but haven't used it.
@nemo - Neat picture, Doug. Like the overlay. That's one fine looking razor.
@sandstone - Blue works great too, Phil! Like your use of the Feathers as a razor rest.

Hope everyone is looking forward to a pleasant autumn weekend. Enjoy yourselves and have great shaves.

'Til the morrow, gents. Be seeing you.

Thank you! Yes, I have a new found love for any schick injector. It is not aggressive at all, the NOS blades and chicks don't have much difference to me.

Thanks for the kind words Ron!!! Regarding the blade... I've noticed that more than just on this occasion, that the blades don't last as long as they do with others... then again a different blade lasts 2 shaves longer than normal. Depends on the razor its in too. I might be imagining things... :blink: but I don't want to risk a bad shave for something as cheap as a blade. So off it went. I'll give them a go in my other razors and re-evaluate then. Remember the Wilkis that I thought were no good and then I got the surprise shave out of it...

Soap is very bad, unscented defined, smell ammonia, the razor is a russian prototype in bronze berilium, very similar to Wolfman Dual Comb head

Today a full Varenisio Tundra Artica shave, paired with a Semogue 2040 and Muhle R41.

I didn't found this soap outstanding, but this line has a really good scent.

About the brush, it is one of the best I own for facelathering, really pleasant. I think that that's explain why it was semogue flagship for many years...

Cheers
