nice!
does anyone actually use the vintage talc?
Thanks! I gave it a go out of curiousity as it was still full, but I liked it enough that it's a blade bank now!

@DabblinRazors - Neat arrangement, Eddie. How do you like the Old Type? Nice plaque as long as you don't display it with straights.
Thanks for the kind words Ron!!! Regarding the blade... I've noticed that more than just on this occasion, that the blades don't last as long as they do with others... then again a different blade lasts 2 shaves longer than normal. Depends on the razor its in too. I might be imagining things... but I don't want to risk a bad shave for something as cheap as a blade. So off it went. I'll give them a go in my other razors and re-evaluate then. Remember the Wilkis that I thought were no good and then I got the surprise shave out of it...
Thanks Ron. I'm a big fan of DdC. Wonderful stuff and I also liked her faux Williams and her tallow based rum soap. Unfortunate that Prairie Creations is no more. Believe Krissy illness forced her to close shop but unknown for sure as nothing noted on her blog or website. DdC as she put is was reversed engineered but she used olive or avocado oil instead of water. Super easy to lather, slick and for me great post shave feel, better than my MdC. Also the fact you could select aroma strength; mild, normal or heavy and ounces of soap you wanted was a major plus. Have three 12 ounce containers of DdC and like MdC this stuff takes just a pea size for up to 3 pass shave so will last me at least five years if not more based on my rotation.
Thanks! I bought it a good while back as legitimate NOS. Absolutely flawless in a box. I didn't use it much initially, but since I've been pairing a Feather with it, it's got new life.Sweet Tech Matt
