Soap Commander Courage today. 20 seconds to load the oscar11 badger. Great, easy, thick, lather. Back with the Fatboy using a Gillette Platinum. Great smooth, close, shave. I finished with Soap Commander AS Balm (has menthol).

Colorado Front Range is setting rainfall records this year. Only a couple of days in May have not been cool, dreary and rainy. Today it is raining and 49. Rain and cool temps forecast through the weekend. Lawn and garden are loving it, me not so much. So...

Shower - none
Preshave - hot washrag, followed by homemade shave oil
Bowl - scuttle, with 180 degree water out of the kettle
Lather - Vulfix Sicilian Lime - probably my favorite cream
Brush - TGN 24mm Grade A Silvertip - a real lather hog, but really heats nicely with the scuttle
Razor - GEM Micromatic Bullseye w/ GEM stainless
Post Shave - Captain's Choice Lime Aftershave

Had a great BBS shave. There is something about a thick HOT lather on a cool day.

I did not have too much hair to shave, but this razor is incredible, it has been able to give a close shave playing her music. Very nice this light but efficient razor!!
