Post: Thayer's Lemon witch hazel, followed by Penhaligon's Quercus


I got the ERN back from honing (thanks Rob!) and took it for a spin. Nice smooth edge and comfortable. Finished with the Ikon. The M6 has great backbone and loaded the MWF quickly, tips are relatively soft and the brush feels bigger on the face than it's 22mm knot implies.

first time i tried atg, discovered that up is not against the grain on my neck, still have considerable stubble right to left. gotta hit the forums for how to tackle that beast, but today's went something like this:
hot shower
superlather weleda shave cream, muhle sea buckthorn soap applied with a vielong horse(surprisingly gentle for a horse - maybe you just need to know how to handle 'em)
weishi with israeli red personna
tend skin solution followed by thayer's lavender witch hazel
also used a hand made bowl from my sister in law for first time, a shave of firsts.
