Results: Time for the IXL to shine through on this beautiful post-Halloween Tuesday. Once again, I opted for the Arko today, but this time in combination with Al's Bomb creme. In contrast to yesterday, I used a little less Arko and the scent was much better but with equally über-amazing performance. I know Al's creme is the crème de la crème, but what I have come to really appreciate is Arko's performance. They should make this with better smelling essential oils. Beautifully BBS and satisfying shave

Decided to use my X1 which has been relegated to my travel kit. It's a good little brush - excellent for face lathering - but I do favor the larger X2. I find it to be easier to work with.

Results: Todays shave started nicely WTG, but at the XTG/ATG pass the need of a touch up was pretty obvious, the blade was tugging, and the shave wasn't as comfortable as usual. But still better than my first few shaves

I received this razor today. The different metals made it look interesting, and I thought the frameback was brass. I sanitized it and started getting it up to snuff. The sanding process revealed something interesting: what I thought was brass is probably gold. Incredible! Stopped sanding and went to polishing. Then sharpening on the stones. She gave a great shave after the HH test.

WTG, XTG, nice fragrances and I am a happy SRSer.
