Parker Silvertip ~that luscious cream you see on her bristles would be the result of a fine lather with a blend of Williams and Vanderhagen Deluxe. Amazing, but true! 2 cakes of williams, 2 cakes of VDH, grated & kneaded, hardened, grated again, I essentially made a cheap version of a triple milled soap... THis stuff is going to last forever!!!!

Simpson Classic 1 with MWF.
I am coming to the conclusion that the Classic models are one of the best kept secrets out there. From their size, one would expect them to be less expensive, but there is a ton of badger hair stuffed into the knot. With the longer loft (on the Classic 1, especially) they have great flow through and make a tremendous lather.
