Always hate to see that. Straight razors are so hit and miss. Some folks have fair or good prices and others want $100 for a rotted out piece.
It's a 1954 TV Special Edition and its value in its present condition easily covers half of what you spent. How about some close ups of the straight you bought?

We only stopped at 4 of the shows. I left behind about 10 brushes, literally dozens of straights, and one gold Gem
