I'm struggling with this series a bit, I have only watched 2 episodes so far. I can't put my finger on it, but Persuader was probably my least favourite book which may cloud my judgement.
I also only watched the first episode and maybe half of the second, not my thing.

Original Twilight Zone on Prime ... People were real actors, frequently on their way up - saw Carol Burnett in one! Charles Bronson's in a good one too. Production quality excellent. Rod Serling could rock a tale.

I watched one a few days ago with Lee Marvin in it.

There's something appealing about Lee Marvin that I can't easily describe.

Saw a great 20 min biography of Lee Marvin on YouTube. Recommend. He was a combat Marine, wounded on Iwo or Okinawa. 🤔 He might be in more than one Twilight Zone, Jack Klugman is in several.

Been catching up on Dark Winds. I guess it's an okay show, but I'm glad each season isn't very long. Seems like these internet shows have a similar season ending theme. Multiple heroes get to take down multiple bad guys and everyone goes home happy, except for the baddies.

Just finished Reacher year 3.

Unlike the first two seasons, I'm having a hard time getting into and finishing Reacher 3. My wife, who liked the first two seasons, gave up after the second episode of 3. We liked Hall in the Dead Zone TV series, but his Reacher character reminds us of his annoying role in later episodes of Psych. The plot of 3 is also slower than 1 & 2, without much of Neagley & his other sidekicks.

I totally agree and had the same experience. The last few episodes are considerably better, but this wasn't a great year for the series. I dislike development this slowly done.

Just finished binging "Avenue 5" at the cigar lounge. Think "Battlestar Galactica", except everyone is neurotic, self-absorbed, and largely incompetent. Pretty funny stuff.

Annnnnd as of 4/1 - just as we go to watch Shatner's Terror at 20,000 Feet - the Zon pulls the series. It's now on Paramount Plus, which we don't have. No warning.

We were halfway through Marvel's Agents of Shield when the same happened - now on Disney.

As the great Geddy Lee said, "plus ça change, plus c'est la même chose."

Found a DVD copy years ago of Terror at 20,000 Feet. Incredible cast and just a silly, fun movie.

I'm watching Landman, which is frankly a little too dark for my taste, but my best friend keeps raving about it so I'm trying to hang in there. It is getting more interesting as I get to the later episodes, and Billy Bob Thornton is always good - so we'll see.
