Ask me about shaving naked!
Saturday morning breakfast at Tiffanys! Joseph Rodgers Union square Tiffany set. The set contains 2 razors, a folding pen knife two scissors, a corkscrew (probably for apothecary bottles/vials), and a missing buttonhook that I’m trying to replace. The set dates from 1870-1905, when Tiffany was located at Union square. The file work on the scissors screws is amazing, undoubtedly hand cut.

And it’s a good excuse to post an image of the lovely Ms Hepburn…

I'm glad you had a perfectly reasonable explanation for the corkscrew. When I first saw it I was immediately like "yeah I don't want to know.."

My first ever SR shave! I've been working on technique with my Wecks. This was a great shave with no nicks or cuts. The shave was a lot easier than my Weck. The edge was just as sharp but a lot more comfortable. I'm sure that makes more sense to those of you with experience.

This is the Settebello 7 from Griffith Shaving Goods with the edge from Matt. I'm not sure what edge he put on it, but I hope to be able to reproduce it. I got this as a somewhat inexpensive razor to learn on. I stropped on a Duke City strop. I'm hoping the edge wasn't rolled, but I guess we'll find out next shave. Dried the edge down and put some Camilla oil on it for storage. I might leave this as a weekend thing just to cut down on my shave time during the week.
