Wow....you really deflated my tires there Andy. Oh well, I just pulled a nice Lamb shoulder roast out of the freezer....so at least one got to die for my dinner!
Never fear. While the "wool" part is lanolin, the "fat" part is still tallow.
What soap should I buy next?....

Well...the lamb roast was excellent! I also got my soaps in the mail...so far they've been pretty darn good...but I'm only one shave in.
The first soap I tried was Cella Crema. Pretty darn good stuff. Super rich creamy lather. I noticed it started to fade and thin out a little quicker than my Tabac does though. I'm sure part of it is just getting used to it. I'll probably use it for the next week or so every time I shave to get a little better feel for it. I did notice it felt a LOT more like I had shaved than it usually does, and oh yes....my Pinaud Clubman AS stung like a mother!
Anyhow...I took a picture and I'll try and post the score here in the next day or two.

Ok guys....as promised....here's my score, fresh in from shoeboxshaveshop.com Gary was nice enough to throw in a few freebies....my favorite being the Speick travel size. Check it out....
+1 for the Fat! I put AoS and MWF head to head and MWF won hands down for me. So much so that I sold my AoS rather than finish it. I'd also take MWF over Trumpers or Harris any day.
Arko and Speick are two great soaps.

The two soaps that are a must, to me, anyway, are Mama Bear unscented and Mitchell's Wool Fat.
I have tried most of the major brand soaps, from Trumper to Tabac, but to me, Mama Bear and Mitchell's top the list.
Naturally, I try not to choose between the two: I rotate both and everybody's happy.

I don't understand this. Why limit yourself to just one? I happen to prefer the AOS, but I still love the variety of being able to choose between AOS, MWF, TABAC, Penhaligon's, Arlington, etc.
I know I gotta stick with just one woman, but I don't gotta stick with just one soap.
I really enjoy MWF. Kent soap is MWF.
Other good options are Trumper's Rose, Harris Arlington, La Toja and Irisch Moos (same as Tabac but actually smells nice). I really want to like my AOS Lavender, but the tallow smell is too much (que the "For no fee, I'll take the dreadful stuff off your hands" comments). I rarely use it because of the tallow funk.
