A 1953/4 aluminium Aristocrat presumably sold as a 66 set. At just 35g with aluminium handle, I'm pretty sure the baseplate is too but it looks like it's been anodised to give it a more luxurious look and feel. I've often wondered how these were marketed - was it differentiated from the full weight version in any way? Sold at full price or a discount?
Regardless of the lack of heft, these aluminium series razors give me very smooth comfortable shaves.
