Any knife is better then No Knife, alway have at very least One knife on my all the time, most of time it's Two.

Big Fan of Spyderco, if your First Responder, or Military, active, retired, Spyderco has OpFocus program, 40% off, use to be 50% but they changed.

While I miss my Alox Pioneer very much, for daily use I prefer the Crit. Especially when I have beer bottles. It is much better for that than my leatherman, Pioneer, or, Guinness key chain sized opener. I haven't tried the Crit for cutting a steak or chop, but, I am sure it would make quick work in that application too.

It works very well as a steak/table knife but I haven’t used it for any prepping/chopping yet.
