I used a SS Karve Overlander handle on a Karve Bison (which handle is aluminum and lightweight). It makes quite a difference!

I got a new handle!

DOC clone (TC21 machined ) on a custom-made hollow handle (TC21 polished)

Grade 5 Ti is equivalent to TC4.

TC21, on the other hand, belongs to the high-strength titanium alloy category.

Compared with TC4, it is more difficult to process, demanding higher requirements for processing techniques and equipment.

Moreover, both the hardness and strength of TC21 are greater than those of TC4.

Here are the analogies of SS316,TC4 and TC21:

316L: Density: 8 g/cc – Yield strength: 290MPa.
TC4(Gr.5 Titanium): Density: 4.4 g/cc – Yield strength: 880MPa.
TC21: Density:4.55g/cc to 4.65g/cc. Yield strength:900Mpa to 1000Mpa.

Although I prefer heavy - duty razors, this lightweight combination still amazes me!
