Yaqi Cerberus
Gillette Nacet (3)
Mondial Pro Aluminum Boar
Zartgefuel Shaving Soap
Aftershave, none, soap leaves skin perfectly moisturized with a nice matte finish.

One of my absolute top performing razors, very efficient, rigid blade support and superb geometry that allows for a nice shallow angle for an easy two pass BBS, no surprise its a 10/10 shave.

My S.O.T.D today consisted of......
Prep Hot Shower.
Blackland Shaving Towel.
Brush Zenith Copper Boar.
Soap Mike's natural soaps, Bergamot, Orange & Ylang-ylang.
Razors Tatara Amakuni.
Blade Feather Pro.
Aftershave Proraso Green Refreshing
Following Jean paul gaultier Scandal edp.

Today's shave was with Tatara's first offering in the SE shaving world, the Amakuni.
I did have reservations about this razor when I first laid eyes on it but let me assure everyone that this is a superb bit of kit and a great addition to anyone's Den.
Tatara definitely know how to make quality, in build and performance razors.
It gave me a fabulous face and head shave with the help of Mike's natural soap.
I used the Saponificio method this time and it produced a much better creamy lather, I think I will apply the method with all my hard soaps going forward.

a solid 9/10 shave.

I will now leave you all to enjoy your sunny day toodles.

So, I'm not afraid to say when I'm wrong...but this is not one of those occasions. 😆

I've been pretty vocal about the price of Wolfman razors, criticized them for the lack of info on their website, and speculated that their razors aren't 10x better than, say, a $65 Game Changer with regards to performance.

Well, I picked up this very nice Ti Wolf WR2 1.05 from a member here so that I might see what all the fuss is about, and...

...I had an absolutely wonderful first shave.

I will say that there is more blade feel than I expected, and the razor is very efficient, without being aggressive. My ATG passes on my neck were very smooth with zero tugging, and the entire shave was DFS+ without a trace of irritation.

So, even though I still believe all of the negatives in my first paragraph, I will admit that the Wollfman is a truly fantastic shaver, that could easily (likely?) replace my stable of modern razors (which admittedly is few).

It is beautifully machined and the fit and finish is impeccable, so I suppose that is worth something, though I still maintain that it is a frivolous and unnecessary luxury item...that I will probably keep for a long, long time. 🙂

(I love it.)
