Before rinsing my face I briefly lathered my forehead to fully wash my face. I might get stuffed in the hypothetical Forum lockers for that. Is that taboo? 🤣🤣🤣🤣
So you lathered your forehead. Haha! You are asking this from a group that has brush sniffers (me), soap sniffers (me), frankenrazor builders (less me), aftershave bootleggers (not me), RADaholics (...me :blushing: ), and blade life extenders (me)...and you are worried that you might be put in the Forum lockers for just lathering your forehead!! You might just be the sane one! Well you and @Quaznoid perhaps. 😃

Lol. I don't even know what half that stuff means.

Yeah, I just figured it was soap and it is on my brush, might as well get on my forehead to get a full face wash. Haha. But I guess after all those weird quirks that most I don't even understand, I am in the clear. 🤣

My third shave with the Super Thin Platinum and it was the best one yet.
It was also my last shave with this P&B sample and it was another excellent lather. I wouldn't get a full puck as I still find it's scent a bit overpowering but it was ok as a winter shaver.

This afternoon's shave, in which the Major does it right.

Pre-shower face wash w/Dr. Bronner's peppermint soap
Phoenix Shaving Accoutrements Prickly Pear Mentholated Preshave soap
Barbasol 1919

Personna Med Prep blade (5th use)
Gillette Fatboy, (2 above the jaw, 3 below & for touch-ups)
Proraso Sandalwood after shave

8/10. A comfortable, damned fine shave all around.

Not made for these times.
From this afternoon...

Pre-shave • King C. Gillette Face Wash

Soap • Proraso Red

Bowl • CaYuen

Brush • Omega Evo Sapphire Blue

Razor • 1964 Gillette Super Speed

Blade • GSB (1)

*Warm Shower*

Aftershave • Thayers Unscented + Bootlegger's Original Bay Rum

Eye Gel • Neutrogena Hydro Boost

A wonderful Friday afternoon shave. The '64 Super Speed/GSB combo performed well, as always. No irritation or weepers. Bootlegger's Original Bay Rum for a superb finish.

10/10.

Have a blessed evening, friends.

Razor: Gillette Tech (made in Germany)
Blade: Gillette 7 o'clock Super Stainless (2)
Pre: Hot Water
Soap: Canada Shave Soap

Excellent shave with the tech last night, couple tiny weepers, very light sting on the aftershave, very smooth result.

Well said Guido….Well said indeed.👍🏻😊💈

Gillette 1941 Ranger Tech, Feather blade (third shave), and Barrister and Mann Leviathan start to finish. Pre-shave was a hot shower and washing my face with Ursa Major Fantastic Face Wash. The Feather was only so-so as I am experimenting with using blades longer than my normal two and done, but my first shave with the Ranger made up for it in spades! Great razor!

Soap & Aftershave Stirling Margaritas in the Arctic
Brush Yaqi 26mm Lucky Dice Tuxedo
Razor Shavette + Euromax Platinum
Top drawer soap & splash! Smells wonderful, cooling, and a creamy slick lather!
Decided to use this long-ignored shavette, my 1st foray into SR shaving back in 2019...cut myself badly back then using it, hahaha. Today...it was too easy...so smooth and very efficient and overconfidence caused a serious nick & a lined weeper...dang! Rating 9 😅😅😅

Notes:

Summary. Second shave with the Game Changer - or actually a second first as I used the open comb baseplate. Wow! That was superb and stellar.
