Pre 1920 Gillette….silver plated I think and in super condition for age. Has a Brit pat number stamped into
the top of the screw in handle piece.
Loaded a Kai blade and proceeded to have a wonderful vintage shave. Very good indeed…Kai worked well in this razor. Contender for shave of the week…really smooth finish, no nicks or weepers and I’m a big fan of this now discontinued cream. A fantastic little razor.

I don’t know what model this Gillette is, but it’s definitely vintage.

This is one of the earlier TTOs.

I am no expert, but it looks like a '46 Ranger Tech. Nice razor! Those are a bit harder to find than the '41 Ranger Tech or '40 Milord.

And I am inclined to concur with @bdehne’s assessment. I might provide another option and say the patina/wear has hints of gold in it which would make it a 1946 Milord razor.

Ever-Ready Chromium razor. My only problem with this razor is that it does such a good job, I don’t have to shave as often. Super close and comfortable. Shower shave with Proraso white, no brush.

@Guido75 has inspired me to finally use my Lady Gillette for a shave. I love the aesthetic of this razor. Especially in its case looking like Snow White in her glass coffin. Also, I enjoy a long handle on a razor. Maybe we could start a group "Manly Men That Shave with Lady Gillettes"

I bought my wife a lady Gillette. She was apprehensive at first so I told her I would shave with it first. I really like them. She likes them now also.

I bought a couple more of them just in case. Haha

Maybe you guys will see them this month. I am running out of time to get all my vintage razors in this month.

Happy Friday shave. The Feather performed really well in the EFB Tech for today's afternoon session with a smooth and easygoing feel. The little Simpson 46 is only just starting, and even though not broken in yet, had no problem whipping up a quality lather from the MWF puck. Top it off with a splash of Sun Up and it's a job done.

I would have thought it to be impolite to share a Lady Gillette's production date code. Is it OK to lie about it?
