What's new

Thoughts?

Most of the translucent pocket stones I've checked out over the years, the ones that were actually used, especially if they were in a worn tackle box or Gerstner chest, had that appearance. I think it comes from people using them without worrying about whether or not the wear pattern will impact its value.
This way the tool and stone get married. I would like such an combo. It's a door opener to feel that part of history.

Before I changed career i was a carpenter for 5 years. Not a single person I worked with had ever flattened their sharpening stone. We just made sure to wear the stone evenly with our tools. We were payed to work, not for sharpening our tools.
