In the very early 1990's, I had a 1968 MG Midget for 2 years.
I spent 5 years of that working on the Stromberg HS2 carburetor.

Thinking back, and having dealt with a couple of those little British roadsters from the 50's and 60's (mainly for friends whose tastes exceeded their abilities), keeping them running right was more an art than a science. It often took a Picasso's touch with the screwdriver or wrench before they would purr just so.

Until the following week, when it all went out of whack again.

Now that I remember, the caricature of the slightly eccentric British car "specialist" back in the day wasn't too far from the reality.

They actually do. And I do smoke their Christmas Blend.

And they are lovely people to deal with.

That reminds me, I should check my stocks on it.

I have made the long drive to the store several times and placed many orders. Great folks as you mentioned. The former owners retired but their in laws continue the tradition of great customer service and custom blends.

Great folks indeed. A long time Milan Tobacconist employee who has since passed taught this fella how to pack and light a pipe many years ago. He got me all setup.

A store worth visiting.
