I have yet to have a verbal conversation where I needed to pronounce it anyways. I suspect most members are the same.

Same! I think Speick’s shave cream is among the best on the market regardless of price (which is saying a lot considering it’s one of the cheapest creams). And it doesn’t irritate my sensitive skin. Every Speick product I’ve tried is top-notch.

It's just pronounced "Spike" with a "sh" instead of "ss".
Not being able to produce a "sh" sound, represented phonetically as ʃ, isn't a characteristics of any American accent.

Just be careful with the spelling especially with words with the ei like Speick. It can end up changing the meaning of the word. Example: schiessen and scheissen. One is what you do with a gun. The other is something brown found in an outhouse

It certainly does. Though spritzing yourself and the bathroom with Speick might be recommended after a scheisse. Though Speick is good just about any timeThat does change things quite a lot!

Back on track: The Speick cream is excellent IMO as is the old tallow soap and the aftershave. I have a couple of the post tallow vegan sticks that I haven’t tried yet so don’t know how they are

Yea i love Speick too i pretty much used it exlusively for like 10 years along with its "Activ" grey vegan formula, that has a more citrusy scent. Great cream for sure and they make a lovely shower gel i enjoy as well.
The Sensitive after shave balsam is one of my favourites AS's for sure.
