OK, fine, Bruce. With an American accent, "spike" is not too far off. It is not "speak" or "sch-peak" was the point.

We butcher all languages equally here.

🤣
None of them are too far off, but only one is correct.

I have yet to have a verbal conversation where I needed to pronounce it anyways. I suspect most members are the same.

I just recently discovered a tube of Speick in the back of my closet. What a great cream. It's slick, protective and smells like a cool winter day in the mountains. I don't know why this doesn't get more attention. The AS is nice too.
Same! I think Speick’s shave cream is among the best on the market regardless of price (which is saying a lot considering it’s one of the cheapest creams). And it doesn’t irritate my sensitive skin. Every Speick product I’ve tried is top-notch.

It's just pronounced "Spike" with a "sh" instead of "ss".

Not being able to produce a "sh" sound, represented phonetically as ʃ, isn't a characteristics of any American accent.

In German ei is usually pronounced like the letter I, so it's pronounced like "spike".
Just be careful with the spelling especially with words with the ei like Speick. It can end up changing the meaning of the word. Example: schiessen and scheissen. One is what you do with a gun. The other is something brown found in an outhouse

That does change things quite a lot! :2guns: 💩

Back on track: The Speick cream is excellent IMO as is the old tallow soap and the aftershave. I have a couple of the post tallow vegan sticks that I haven’t tried yet so don’t know how they are
