A fine shave to start the week off with, but some irritation while shaving led to a lower score. Otherwise this shave would have been perfect. The scent of Atomic Bay Rum is sweeter upon lathering than from the tub.

Hello B&Bers!

This SOTD Weekly Theme is all about Halloween.

This week’s theme is easy peasy… we just want to see you showcase your Halloween Spirit and Halloween themed SOTD! All you need to do is incorporate Halloween into your SOTD posts!

We want to see pics that include Halloween costumes, candy, Jack O Lanterns, Halloween themed shaving brushes ( @ChiefBroom from Paladin makes great examples of this), themed soaps like B&M Hallows, etc… anything “Scary” would fit the bill.

Nothing SE themed? Please still post a pic of your usual shaving setups. Or post pics of your usual SOTD or just tell us all about it. Let’s see lots of Halloween artistic representation this week!

This one caught me by surprise. After a good buddy sent me this set, I sat on it, waiting for the Halloween season before giving it a go. And now that I have, I'm even more thankful for their generosity.

Boo, as with many soaps, doesn't nearly scratch the surface of its full beauty when smelling off the jar. You have to lather it, shave with it, and more importantly use the aftershave, to get the full picture.

Its notes are listed as being... Palo Santo, Black Leather, Jasmine, Lavender, Coffee, Smoke, Resins, Vetiver.

Omg, do I love this stuff! It's this dark, floral that's a little sweet and a little smokey. The combination of notes just came together and became this fragrance that I'm a big fan of. A&E did a great job, as usual.

I did a three-pass shave with the Parker 78R. With a Nacet blade loaded, it shaved me well. I have to say, I'm really diggin' this razor. I love the graphite color and the extra length of the handle. The knurling on the handle is nice too.

Overall this was a fantastic shave. One I know I'll feel compelled to repeat before next year's festivities.

I actually reprised the shave from last year - Wolfman WR2 OC (SS head over Ti handle) using a vintage Schick Plus Platinum blade. I used one of Ken's past Halloween special brushes to whip up the Lycanthropy soap from Southern Witchcraft. Finished it off with good ol' Ghost Town Barber aftershave. Ahoooooo .. again ...
