Razor: Yates Precision Stainless Winning,
Blade: Lord Super Chrome, BIC Chrome Platinum (both 1st use)
Brush: Omega 10075
Cream: The Body Shop Maca Root & Aloe
Liquid Styptic: Cosma
Aftershave: Pereja Lemon Eau de Cologne (Limon Çiçeği Kolonyasi)
Aftershave Balm: Nivea Sensitive

Lot of firsts today, which probably isn't the best idea but I couldn't help myself. First time using the Omega brush I got yesterday, it's pretty soft already but needs breaking in as it hogged the lather a bit (I needed to use more cream halfway throught the shave). Fits perfectly with this vintage melamine mug I got a while ago. Also first time using the Lord blade in the Winning, it wasn't cutting well X/ATG (and left a patch of weepers that I needed to use liquid styptic on), so I chucked it an replaced it with a fresh BIC, big difference. Also firsts time using the Nivea Sensitive, I quite like it, but I found out that a little goes a long way, and the bottle doesn't have a limiter.

Today I used the same Omega shaving brush. See post No. 62. This is one of my favorite brushes.

This is the third shave with my Razor Rock Stealth Slant Razor and PolSilver Super Iridium razor blade. As I posted earlier, I like this blade and was disappointed it was no longer produced. I recently learned that one vendor carries that blade, so I ordered 100. To save on shipping, LOL, I also bought a shaving brush with a Manchurian knot. It was a perfect BBS shave. Have a great day and week, folks

Razor : Yaqi SLOPE 316 SS Trosional slant head with a Yaqi hollow tapered Brass nickel coated handle. Mfg 2022>, mild to tame mid range depending on blade used. Excellent machining, finish + design QC for some nice shaving. If I like a close shave I just use a Kai SS (extra wide) blade for some nice shaving. Had a close comfortable shave this morning.
Blade : Kai SS (extra wide) (9) sharp and smooth with excellent longevity. Top tier blade for milder razors that need a boost in blade feel but not over the top for aggression.
Soap : Cyril R Salter Wild rose, nice rosey scent 6-7/10 with excellent lather qualities.
Brush :Yaqi "Mysterious space" 24mm 3band silvertip badger. Excellent lather generator, luxury pillow like soft tips, nice splay scrubber + great lather painter. Great overall brush for my shaving needs.
Pre shave : (Dedicated Cashmere synthetic)Brush wash whole face with CeraVe hand bar cleanser with a dollop of clear Aloe Vera on the cleaned beard area.
Prep : Cold water rinse after each pass of 2 + pickups. WTG + ATG + pickups.
Post shave : Italian barber(Razorock) Amici with witch hazel+ a dollop of CeraVe moisturizing lotion(scentless).
Results : Dial 10.jpg or CCS,DFS,BBs + no irritation + no weepers=:a17: Had a close comfortable shave this morning with my Yaqi Slope slant razor with a Kai SS blade.

RazoRock Lupo Club - The Pack

Hello friends

It's a hot Wednesday here. Inspired by this week's great SOTD theme, I chose a soap I really like, Stirling Bay Rum. I went back to Pegasus Boar and after a few weeks it seems like we're starting to get along. Lupo 95SB and Perma-Sharp (4) were splendid together. I finished with Pinaud VIBR and Guerlain Homme EdT.

With us, the masterful Roy Hargrove.

Rating: 10

Have a nice day and great shaves!
