soap containers

I purchased about 100 of these jars specifically to put shaving soap into.
They are 3 1/8" in diameter and are 1 3/4" high (I measured them myself)
And are listed as a 6 oz jar.

I purchased them here, you can buy as many or as few as you want which is nice. They are currently out of stock on them, but I emailed the seller to as if they will be restocking.

The lids are sold separately.
89-400 lids that fir the above 6 oz Jar

But now my thought is to pour the shaving soap into 3" silicone puck molds and offer these as extra since so many have their own containers.

I thought about the glass anchor or pyrex jars but thought against glass because I didn't want them to get slippery and fall and break and the safety issue of someone getting hurt. So I ordered online and went with plastic.

I'm a sucker for the OEM wood/aluminum/ceramic containers. To me, it makes them seem more "special", and it also helps me keep the SSAD a little more in check.

+1 Getting the proper container that comes with the soap is half of the fun for me. It wouldn't be the same otherwise.

On the other hand, if I used glycerin soaps, I would probably have to be looking for containers for them.

In the UK there is a highstreet store called Lakeland that sells kitchenware.
One of the products is "biscuits for one" which consists of two perfectly sized plastic containers for shavesoap refills.

I have grated palmolive and erasmic sticks into two containers, and in some others I have l'occitane cade and C&E sandalwood soaps. They stack well and with some simple labels make excellent cheap containers.

I was blessed by a windfall of surplus plastic hospital denture cups.
They are basically opaque plastic cups with translucent lids. They stack perfectly.

+1 Here is the answer guys! You can buy as many or as few as you want for .60 (container and lid) a piece. These looks a lot like the ones Mama Bear uses.
