Well, I learned something! Never knew a horsehair brush did that. If I ever get one I'll know to be careful.

(I should have expected something like this, cos I'd decided I had enough brushes and wasn't going to buy any more. Then what happens? First The Italian Barber has a limited edition undyed version of the Semogue 1305, then Semogue themselves release a 2012 SOC with a Caravela type knot, and now this! I'm away from home right now, and I already have two unused new brushes waiting for my return!)
When I saw that Gifts&Care are one of the few stockists of the new Proraso Sandalwood soap, my resistance crumbled. So I've ordered a 13061B at standard 53mm loft (plus the soap). I was very tempted to go for a lower loft, but I thought I'd stick with the standard until I know what the 50/50 natural white hair is like. I can always get another at a lower loft later, maybe a 13071B - I've always liked the look of those olive wood handles.
I would think a 50/50 in Natural White & the 50/50 Banded would be virtually identical in every way except for looks since the Whit Hair is Natural.
I expect so, but I've no idea what the 50/50 banded is like either - I only have brushes in 65/35 brown.
