Rust on razor blades.

Hello, dear fans of classic shaving! I want to share my problem with you. I recently bought Treet classic Pakistani blades. They completely suit me in terms of shaving quality, and I have no complaints about them. However, yesterday, after four shaving sessions, I discovered that the blade was rusty.

Do you leave your blade in your razor wet? I use the Treet Dura Sharp occasionally and it is also a carbon steel blade, albeit one known to have a coating. I always disassemble my razor after every use and clean and dry razor and blade. No issues with (visible) rust.

I have also used Treet blades, from memory Treet Carbon which was black. The blade turned rusty on the second day. I haven't seen rust on any other blades and I al.so use them for four shaves and do not try the blades between shaves

There are plenty of other blades out there OP, I would just avoid Treet

"Carbon steel is prone to rust because it lacks the corrosion-resistant properties of stainless steel"
"Unlike carbon steel, stainless steel contains chromium, which forms a protective layer that resists corrosion and prevents rusting"

I should add that I have a Treet Dura Sharp I am Excaliburing. It has 35 shaves on it with no visible rusting at all - granted I clean and dry my razor/blade after every use like I said above.
