Paypal Dispute

Please let us know what happens... I've been an ebay buyer for some time and everything has been fine, but now I want to sell some Jorg Gray watches and I've heard several horror stories like this on the net... I don't want to lose my money because of ebay siding with a scammer.

That's unfortunately part of the pain of selling on eBay. 99% of the buyers are great, honest folks. But 1% are unethical jerks or just plain idiots, and you remember the jerks more than the 99% of the honest folks.

You're all my other transactions have been BBS. By Paypal "eating it", I mean they refunded the money I had spent.

You need to call PayPal. If you can provide a tracking number, you win. Even if PayPal sides with the buyer (they always favor the buyer), they will probably eat the loss and give you your money back as well if you have proof you sent it.

Just spoke to Paypal and the said if the buyer does not reply by the 5th it will resolve in my favor. The confirmed delivery helps!

Fortunately I have never had such problems with my deals here :)

The dispute was finally resolved in my favor last night. I can't understand why it took a month but I'm glad it's over! It pays to have tracking info.

ALWAYS get delivery confirmation. When it is over $250 (check to make sure this amount is correct) you need to have delivery confirmation and signature required according to ebay rules.

eBay can be ridiculous like that. Hang in there. Hopefully, you'll get the money. It has become a very buyer-centered service, when as a seller you can only leave neutral or positive feedback, and as a seller, you can leave positive, neutral or negative feedback.
I've also heard stories of people who buy, and receive an item, and then file the dispute and win with no contact to the seller. I wouldn't sell to someone without any feedback.

On ebay, it's seller beware!

Kinda like that old saying. "I need experience to get a job but i need a job to get experience" i guess it's risky but i bid on a new pair of Dre Studio Monster Beats from a new seller with no feedback and got them for half price. Glad the situation got resolved and you got your money OP now head on over to the BST section of this forum and buy something nice for yourself.
