What's new

Packaging of the year award goes to India

I am currently having my wife knit some shipping boxes for my upcoming B&B sales and trades. Stay tuned.

How many people are ordering from this seller? He only has 60 reviews. Is he a favorite here or something?

The rating isn't really an issue. If the item doesn't arrive or is " not as described", PayPal will reimburse the price+shipping. Paypal heavily favors buyers and makes buying safe. Although I've had nearly 200 transactions and as a buyer and seller, and only 2 issues which was resolved via communication. The vast majority of eBayers are decent people, and protections are in place in case something goes wrong.

Edit: there is another seller on eBay India that has over 3000 feedback. I forgot the name but I purchased blades from them in the past.

Reminds me of those Jeff Foxworthy redneck jokes...you might be a redneck if you ever mailed someone package made up of newspaper & duct tape covered with a book of stamps.....

I ordered a roll of duct tape from India, and it came packed the exact same way. I think he may have used some of the tape from my roll.

I just ordered some stamps. I'm curious to see how they arrive.

IU'm a Philatelist (stamp collector). SO, if you don't want the stamps send them to me. PM me. I'll take em off your hands

Unfortunately I have already thrown them away, but I do plan on buying from this seller again as the price was great, I'll be sure to keep you in mind.

My mum (MOM) lives in India and she sent me care package not long ago. She took it to the post office already in a box, they then wrapped it in cheese cloth stitched it up and then actually stitched the stamps onto the cloth and covered it in wax seals! I thought I just received mail sent from 100 years ago! $20130313_163221.jpg$20130313_163227.jpg$20130313_163253.jpg$20130313_163418.jpg

I must say, Lex, that is the most suspicous looking package I have ever seen.

Last year I bought nutmeg from an Indian spice supplier on Amazon, and the package came wrapped similarly to yours, directly from a nutmeg plantation in India. Best nutmeg I've ever had, and by far the cheapest.

Very nice Thuja wood bowl, and that linen/wax sealed package is . . . legendary in how much it looks like a cheesecloth and wax Frankenstein's Monster packaging box. Or a zombie box . . .
