Last night’s stupendous shave

Personna GEM PTFE (5)
RazoRock Super Slant Lvl 3

Damp facecloth aka “shave binky”
Simpson Wee Scot 13mm badger brush
Pre-shave: Al’s new (old) lathering method
Lather: Wickham’s 1912 Club Cola bowl-loaded, face-lathered
Post shave warm shower
Post shave: mentholated Equate moisturizer
Despite a return to smoothness, I must’ve keelhauled that GEM blade after two shaves. Shave five was smooth, but it was at too steep of an angle and left too much behind. It’s preternatural with a fresh GEM and will receive one for its next outing.
Finished up the shave with my RazoRock Super Slant and seem to have had a better time than when I used it in Slantember. Won’t know until tonight because post-shave irritation or ingrowns may take that long to be noticed. Definitely feels like I’ve shaved, which is totally different than using the Travel Raptor at a low angle with a fresh GEM blade.

Used my dad's old Gillette slim twist. I dont really like it. It doesn't shave very well it isn't pretty either. I understand why my dad dislikes double edge razors.

Yes they do. Anywhere in the EU. Great soap and quite lasting too. I am an average loader and I am already up to 84 shaves with no end in sight yet. The scent is mild but distinctly bergamot and it lathers just by looking at it. Excellent post shave feel as well. And you can choose to go either for just the puck or go for the mug and the puck.
