Sounds great! You are a lucky guy your Schick is on a rare side.
Lucky me, got it for like 5 euro's and it even came with its box and blades. Will try and get a picture onto here if I can find it.
Yates brass/Ti cap provided an excellent shave this morning.
Quite a bit of heft to this one so takes a bit of a light touch with the H plate, but I do enjoy using it.

That is what I'm thinking also, there is already a Pink Kai in my SE1.The Ti Vector is up to bat tomorrow for Single Edge Sunday.
Think I'll do a week of AC blade razors.
I always feel like a King when using my D3 Executive Fatboy. I like mine on #6 and #7.

I was fortunate to be the high bidder in the Sue Moore auction on a BNIB post-war (Y4), made in Canada, fat-hhandle Tech and stick of Derby soap. It arrived yesterday and I ripped it open 3 seconds after I took this pic because yeah, im gonna use it...

So, how does a brand new Tech shave with a new Platinum? The same as a well used Tech after 80 years: awesome...it just looks better doing it. The soap? Meh...very much like Williams or Arko, old school scent, dries quickly, leaves skin squeaky clean....but I had to try it.

This shaving line-up was calling to me saying, "Shave with me." I did. This was as perfect a shave as it gets. Van Der Lovett Dutch Blue and Reuzel Wood and Spice was Dutchie perfection. My Lupo 95 SB paired with a Big Ben SS gave me one of my smoothest shaves. I immediately ordered 100 Big Ben SS blades after cleanup. I've never done that before. I panicked for fear of running out. I only have a hundred count. Now, I won't. Well, maybe I'll have to order many more to be sure. Life is good, and sometimes I surprise even myself.

Maybe at some point. I wasn't impressed with them at first. Over the years and narrowing down variables, like being allergic to some soaps, Lord Blades worked well for me.Mainly with Egyptian blades almost all, not for me
