BTW, has anyone seen an ingredient list for the new Cella soap?
And those who have had reactions to the scent of the original. Even if it’s not tallow based I’d still be willing to give it a try. My biggest issue with the bio wasn’t that it’s vegan but I wasn’t a big fan of the smellIf these new version contain tallow then they could really open Cella up to more people that did not like the scent of the original Cella.
do they have the formulation and scent quality to justify the price though? or is it just more expensive because its different and comes in a new container? It's very expensive compared to the Cella we are used to, but I think they must be going after a different customer, someone who might be interested in artisan soaps.
If you do the math, 300g of Barrister&Mann or similar artisan soaps would be more than $50. 300g of Stirling would be a bit more than $25. So the "artisan" version of Cella is more or less between those price points.

Seems like since it’s still fairly new most people here haven’t tried it yet. If anyone has ordered outside of Italy or Europe I suspect they’re still waiting on it to arrive. Just have to wait for any reviewsdo they have the formulation and scent quality to justify the price though? or is it just more expensive because its different and comes in a new container?
I don't understand this. Let us assume that this new version of Cella is superior to the original but is intended for barber use.
Next time I get a 1 kg block/bar (TFS seems to call them bar), I will compare. That said, I am pretty sure TFS Almond is 100 percent the same and about half the price of the original Cella.
Is the single blade line discontinued already?I don't understand this. Let us assume that this new version of Cella is superior to the original but is intended for barber use. Surely the superior version is the one that should be sold in smaller quantities, directly to the user, to use regularly at home. To my mind, the apparently inferior product should be sold in bulk to barbers for use during occasional barber shop visits, since we should use the 'best' product more frequently than the inferior version. It is from the Gillette school of product development and reminds me of the discontinued Proraso Single Blade line - "so much better than the rubbish we have been selling to you for the last 50 years"; I suspect it will end the same way.
Only in certain markets. Not an insuperable barrier to the B&B brotherhood! Is the single blade line discontinued already?
That would be a shame because both the green and the blue one are amongst my favorite scents..
I believe they have discontinued the soaps and creams but still produce the colognes and beard care items etc. Certainly that is all I could find on their website. You may still be able to find old stock creams and soaps. I could be completely wrongIs the single blade line discontinued already?

No, I think you are right. On the Italian website there is no mention of the single blade line whatsoever......I believe they have discontinued the soaps and creams but still produce the colognes and beard care items etc. Certainly that is all I could find on their website. Interesting! As long-time Cella afficionado, I will have to give it a try. I am not a fan of their new vegan stuff in the green cans. And on the Cella. I found the TFS Almond soap to be even better than Cella. Cheap aswell.
I actually like the Aloe version for the smell. Haven't really noticed a big difference in performance.Interesting! As long-time Cella afficionado, I will have to give it a try. I am not a fan of their new vegan stuff in the green cans.

I would like to argue that the vintage design and the grandpa on the Cella package brought them so many sales that the artist deserves another bonus.
I think if I were to buy one of those blocks my wife would escort me of the premises and tell me I could use it as a pillow, sleeping under a bridge.Interesting! As long-time Cella afficionado, I will have to give it a try. I am not a fan of their new vegan stuff in the green cans.
