Most artisan soaps are extremely heavy handed on the scent IMO.
I quite like the scent of TOBS Eton College and Jermyn Street - but if those scents are too strong you could try Mitchell's Wool Fat. I prefer the old, Tallow formula which is probably hard to find these days - the current, non-tallow, version smells almost the same and performs pretty well.
If you like Rose, I often choose an unscented soap like Noble Otter Bare (or a very mild scented soap like MWF) and then use Rose Water to wet the puck and the brush.
