• Prep: Brush soaked in hot water, hot shower.​

• Razor: Gillette Short Comb NEW mounted to iKon Bulldog Handle
• Blade: Chroma Diamant (4)
• Brush: Vintage Stanley Home Products restored with TGN 22mm Fan High Density Finest Two-Band Badger Knot
• Cream: Erasmic Lather Shave Cream
• ASB: Nivea for Men Sensitive Post Shave Balm (old formula)
• AS: Canoe
• Post: Cold Water Rinse, double application of aftershave balm, after shave applied to back of neck, chest, behind ears, and hairline.

After the outstanding shave with the Matador Toro Mastif Corto open comb yesterday I thought another open comb deserved a go today. It may be physically impossible to get a bad shave from a Gillette NEW, if there is one open comb that everyone must own, in my opinion it would be the NEW.

I never experienced the old formula of the Erasmic, I know others say this new version is not nearly as good, but I personally love the scent. My only gripe with it is the small tube, I just wished that it was available in larger sizes.

I am still being careful with the alcohol based aftershaves on my face, but applied some Canoe behind my neck, on chest and at hair line.
