I'm so new to this I don't even have a comfort zone yet. But, last night I did change things up a bit.

Prep: Shower with a face wash of moisturizing conditioner, followed by a few minutes of pre-lather with Williams soap.
Lather: CO Bigelow in a bowl for passes 1 and 2, face lathered some KMF for pass 3. The Bigelow just wasn't feeling as slick as it has in the past.
Brush: VDH Boar
Razor: Schick Krona
Blade: Freshly opened Crystal Super Platinum
Finish: Cold water rinse and Nivea ASB

Well I am out and about traveling for work for a week. I thought it would be nice to see what people would take with them if forced to leave their comfort zone. I personally shave with straights 99% of the time. I dont trust the TSA, nor do I want to risk damaging a strop. So I brought my Merkur 39c DE.

Lets see what you all would do if forced to leave your comfort zone

Thats a hotel background if I ever saw one.... I guess thats the "leaving the comfort zone" part

For all of February I'm using Harris Almond stick grated into a Old Spice mug. Using one soap for the whole month takes me out of my comfort zone. For today's shave I went further out by using my least favorite soap brush and a lime aftershave.
