Tell Tara you want James to see the pictures. This is not up to Wolfman standards at all.
Thank you for your suggestion. I’m not sure what those scratches are—maybe CNC machining marks? If it weren’t for a friend asking to see more photos, I wouldn’t have even noticed them. Not your fault and don't under declare on customs. What they area asking you to do is wrong and should not be asked or encouraged from a private sale, let alone a business.
They should be paying for all all return shipping and all costs to get a new one in your hands.
If they keep giving your these BS responses, I would be looking at buyer protection from your method of payment.
Thank you!@Doubino1 I am horrified by this and I’m sorry you are having this experience. They should just send you a new razor head. There is no reason to return the defective one you received, but if they really want it back so they can throw it in the trash themselves then they should arrange and pay for the return shipping.
At this point I can only support what you said in your message back to Tara, and I think we can all take it that Wolfman is now saying this kind of work is what we should expect from them. I’m glad you showed everything here and I simply cannot explain it.
Whatever you do, don’t send them more money for a mirror polish razor when they have let you down like this. It is better to buy one from another member here, via the Buy-Sell-Trade sub-forum. At least then you know it is the same as their normal quality, and these razors come up for sale quite frequently in perfect condition because buyers find they would prefer a different blade gap and they sell the one they have so they can order a different one.
I am speechless, honestly. This is wrong.
At least the razor should function correctly and the issues are cosmetic. I hope you can still enjoy using it.
I highly recommend Lambda razors in Greece. Even better than Wolfman and just as beautifully made. And Theo would never, ever treat a customer like this.
I have a jewelry buffing machine... made in your fine country.... I've polished a few razor caps.... It's easy to use... and it would cost you about what the shipping costs would be for a return to Wolfman, most likely... I have a little container with 6 polishing compounds... one of them works well on stainless steel... I polished my Blutt BR-1 matte razor head to a fine polish in just a few minutes... I'm guessing that would take out those pock marks easily.... I know, I'd try it if I were you... but YMMV and you do have a unique WR2... I am sorry Tara isn't taking better care of you... She's always been wonderful to me, but then, I haven't had any issues...Thank you for your suggestion. I’m not sure what those scratches are—maybe CNC machining marks? Since I’m in China, we don’t usually use PayPal or similar payment methods, so I lack knowledge in this area. I’ve decided to just let this matter go.
I got into wet shaving in June last year and quickly became obsessed with it. Over time, I heard about Wolfman from friends and learned about its reputation. I registered on the waitlist on September 30th, and after more than six months of waiting, this razor finally crossed the ocean and arrived in my hands. In a way, this marks the fulfillment of my admiration for Wolfman last year—this is the razor that has captured the attention of wet shaving enthusiasts worldwide
I will keep it because, to me, it is truly “one of a kind.”
Thank you, Phoenix. I also feel disappointed about this situation. Perhaps Tara truly believes their products shouldn’t be like this, but I can say with a clear conscience that every word I’ve said is honest. As you said, you’ve never encountered any issues, so I guess I might have “won the lottery.”I have a jewelry buffing machine... made in your fine country.... I've polished a few razor caps.... Thank you sir. What's the saying? "It takes years to build a reputation and minutes to ruin it."
You are very patient @Doubhino. I feel angry on your behalf! I have razors that had a basic polish and then 5 years of use on them that are still spotless by comparison. This looks like it has been getting scratched and battered about in the bottom of a reject parts bin out the back of their workshop for 10 years then they just fished it out and shipped it to you.
Wolfman owe you a new razor head. It's that simple - and you can tell them some random dude on the internet said so!
I don't think so, even a blind person realises that the processing cannot be acceptableThis is my WR1 basic polished.

I am totally flabbergasted by Tara's response. Did you send her the same photos that we saw?
I don’t think this post will change the passion that the wet shaving community has for Wolfman. It is loved because it truly is a great brand, and even now, I still think it’s great—though I wasn’t lucky enough to receive a great Wolfman myself. What's the saying?
