I'm thinking of picking up an iphone but only when it is available from Verizon. Honestly I'm getting tired of my droid ever since the new update. It runs way too slow and as far as apps are concerned I thought there would be an influx of them once the droid was released. Now we have the evo, droid x, droid 2 and countless other phones running android and still i'm not finding as great apps and games as my friends with iphones.

I'm using my iPhone now. My fav technology ever.
Apps, I use; bloomberg for markets, a workout app, zenbe lists I like as can share with wife and sync with puters, eBay, a train puzzle that is about the only game I ever play, kobo for books, Sirius satellite radio (really love that one), audubon guides, the score sports updates.

ifitness is a good fitness app. They keep updating with new excersises, plus you can taylor your own workouts.

Battleship is a fun game, as it was when i was a kid lol

Uconvertpro is a good unit converter

I have my bank app on here.

I have B&B as my home page so when hit the internet app it goes directly to here.

Art of Manliness as discussed in another thread.

Google Earth

Tip calculator

TSA app for keeping up with what i can and can't carry, you type in your item and it will tell you carry on or checked bags only. Plus it will inform you of delays at your airport

I have a Bible app, because we can all use a little extra help at times

A Carpenter app that has a level on it that is just plain awesome.

A camera app that allows you to try different effects with your pictures

A USPS, Fed Ex, UPS app that lets me track my packages.

Anything your heart desires can be found at the app store

Shredder Chess

Been playing it this evening for around 2 hours. Love the customizable features like board colours/piece styles & the option to either play a game or try your hand at guessing the next moves & when they are hard the hint button is a great feature.

A really well worked out package overall. I dont often pay for apps but if I got a new Ipod this would be one of the 1st apps I would download. Its MILES better than "freechess" that I used before.

Really appreciate the tip thanks!

Rather than start a new thread, thought I'd resurrect this one.

Any other favorite apps not listed yet? I'm dumping my 'droid this weekend and picking up an iPhone.
