Thanks guys! The dinner went off without a hitch, but (and you wouldn't believe me if I told...which, I suppose I'm doing right now) the next day I decided to do one more chicken breast and make a sandwich out of it. You guessed it. One bite, a few milliseconds of "Uh oh..." before well...I haven't been the same since.
Worked late, had to find something easy to make. Hmmm, left over pork shoulder from the other night.... Voila - Cuban sandwiches. Ham, pork shoulder, swiss, pickles, mustard on potato rolls, buttered, smashed flat on a griddle for a while. Heaven.
A BIG Porterhouse steak with Woodchuck cider to wash it down. Yum!
About a pound of green beans and some raw garlic.
