Well at least they got the hot water/towel prep part right. And surprisingly no dark warnings about the cutthroat being a specialists tool. And how about describing the basic properties of a good DE razor correctly? Frankly I am stunned.

He forgot the SE razors, though.

Yes, the article and video got as much wrong as it did right. But at least it emphasized the importance of prep and the superiority of using a brush to lather with. In the video, I found it interesting that the female anchor said she used a brush for lathering when she shaved her legs.

I found her suggestion of using a brush to be the most informed part of the article. The guest was definitely in the pocket of the multi-blade cartridge shaving industrial complex. A multi-blade razor that vibrates and has "skin guards" so you don't cut yourself? I don't think so.

A rather uninspiring article with several 'errors'. Either
1. the writer is a wetshaver and sadly enough has not been frequenting B+B enough, or
2. the writer knows little about shaving, and used propaganda/'information pieces' from the sponsors/advertisers for his paper as a reliable source of data/information.
I suspect the latter.

After interviewing several experts, they list the straight for the best shave, and a DE next, closer than cartridges or disposables.

While trying not to step on the toes of the multi-blade cartridge makers, mention is made of ingrown hair problems with them.

Using a brush rather than smearing goo on with fingers is also recommended.
