How's The .22lr Ammo Supply Out There Now?

"Can't Raise an Eyebrow"
I've had Winchester subsonic H.P.s on back order from Midway for over a year now. When the order was first placed, the "expected date" was just a month or so!

I haven't tried to hunt it down lately, but it's about the only caliber that isn't being stocked and available at near pre inflated prices in my area.

No issues getting 22's at local Field & Stream store (spinoff of Dicks Sporting Goods). It should be interesting next week when the supply pops up as door buster sales, lol.

I was in the local Wally about an hour ago, and figured I'd check. You never know, right? Actually, yes, I did know before I asked. Nope! Asked the guy when do they usually get it. He said Thursdays or Fridsys, but it's always gone in 2hrs. I said I'm not surprised, and its not worth it to me to go through that nonsense.

I envy you guys who live where the stupidity has subsided! Not here in Kalifornia!

Same problem here in Kansas, but the one time I actually found ammo there (see my previous post) they had instituted a limit to how much you could buy, which is the only reason they still had some left when I was there. You might talk to your store manager and see if he/she would put a limit on it so others can get some throughout the day/week.

I have enough plinking ammo to last the rest of my life,
cases upon cases. what I don't have is a lot of Tenex, I just
paid $19.25 box including shipping. thanks, douglas

roughly the same price as the single brick.
.001 cheaper per round. or $5.00 give or take
If my math is correct. and it's probably not

Close enough, although the free MTM case was worth around 14.00. I think with the lower oil prices the costs for ammo will drop even more.

I was in the Council Bluffs, IA Bass Pro Shop the Sunday after Thanksgiving. They had managed to keep a shopping cart of 22LR in stock and one guy was handing out a couple of hundred packs at a time.
