With a Super Iridium in my EJ DE89L I get seven to eight nice shaves.

Are you saying you flip the blade over, or only use one edge at a time? Curious...
I usually get 4, that is because I toss after 4, no matter the blade. I prefer not to feel the tugging before I get rid of them.

I am the resident blade ruiner, it is one three-pass shave and out or I get really severe irritation and weepers. I did get a second shave out of a sample Perma-Sharp, but that is unusual for me. Next month I think I will purchase some Perma-Sharps to see if two shaves is the rule for that blade or if it was just a one-time aberration.
3 shaves, regardless of blade. Life is short and blades are inexpensive.
2 good ones, i could probably squeeze a third if its a weekend shave (as not so close).
I've been using 7 O'clock Blacks (the Ninja) and go for 4 doing 3-4 passes each shave.
My average is 3-4 shaves.

I replace my Feather blades once a week. I shave every weekday and then late Saturday afternoon, making it six shaves in a week. When I used Derby blades, I was lucky to get three shaves out of them. I take good care of the blades. After each shave, I use an old toothbrush to clean the blade. The blade is turned after each shave and after shaking off any excess water, I did the head of the razor into 91% alcohol (the alcohol is also changed once a week).
I go with 4 shaves per blade, but use the same rationale as JeffJ.
