High Efficiency Summah

Last night’s smoov shave
GEM Micromatic Open Comb and plastic RIGS
Personna GEM PTFE (2)
Damp facecloth aka “shave binky”
Simpson KH-1 17mm synthetic brush
Pre-shave: lukewarm shower and a few minutes of waterboarding
Lather: Canada Shaving Soap, bloomed and bowl-lathered
Aftershave: Ulm Nom
Post-shave: face wash with shave binky and a drop of hyaluronic acid

Last shave of High Efficiency Summer was extra smooth. With a modified bread bag tie under the back of the GEM blade, it was all “little RIGS, little RIGS let me shim! Shave off the hairs of my chinny, chin, chin!” And so the razor did. Rode the bend of the cap close to where the edge presents and used gentle skin stretching for a mostly dolphin smoov neck and jawline and most of my face.

Back in 2021, another user used the term ‘dolphin smooth’.

Another member questioned him about it Here is his answer . Does his use of the term predate yours?

I've enjoyed the Summer reaching for some high efficiency gear. Missed my Wolfmans though. Hope to have a big gap WR1 again for next year.

Someone else used light bulb smooth and squeaky before I did. I don’t know who and I can’t find it.
