The red ones are the newer ST-301s. The blue are the older ST-300s. The reds are slightly sharper. Both are good for the price if you can get them cheap.Does anyone know if there is a difference between the Dorco "HQ" blades in the blue packaging versus the Dorco "HQ" in the red packaging? Other than one is red and the other is blue . They are both priced about the same around 5 to 6 USD per 100 blades. Maybe just newer packaging?

Red = ST-301According to a different thread, Dorco Korea confirmed they are the same blade in different packaging.

Would be interesting to check the source that claims the updated process since Dorco Global Website lists 3 blades in their catalogue : ST300/301 - STP300 - STL300.Red = ST-301
Blue = ST-300
The Reds are made with an updated process giving them a sharper edge. Why Mr. Jason Ahn would not disclose that, even though Dorco takes great pride in updating their process every eight or so years is beyond me. Just odd.
Interesting. on the old dorcousa.com website when you could purchase their blades there they advertised the ST-301s were an updated ST-300s with an upgraded manufacturing process.Would be interesting to check the source that claims the updated process since Dorco Global Website lists 3 blades in their catalogue : ST300/301 - STP300 - STL300.

I have not tried either the ST-300 or ST-301 blades, but I can confirm that the STP-301 Prime Platinum blades are great blades. They are very sharp, yet smooth. They are produced in a state of the art facility in Vietnam. They are slightly more expensive than the ST-300 and ST-301 blades, but they are as good as blades costing even more. I have a tough beard and sensitive skin, so I love my blades sharp and smooth. Dorco Prime Platinum blades deliver for me. They are among my top blades.
My wife buys me the ST-300s due to availability in the PI. I get three good shaves from them.Dorco Primes are very fine blades!
I really cannot comment on their other options as it has been quite awhile since I tried any of the others.
