This brush is a pleasant surprise. Made for Fendrihan, I was curious and added it to an order after it had a price reduction. I had low expectations, but it has proven very capable. I usually just start using a brush, but gave this one a few days of accelerated break in, soak, lather, dry…repeat. It has worked out nicely!

Zenith A26 unbleached boar….an epic brush in every way. Not expensive for such great quality.
La Toja cream from my trip to Portobello Rd in London.
Gillette 7 O’Clock SP….is this the smoothest blade known to man? Put one in an old Aristocrat, Ranger , Adjustable or Tech and be prepared for a treat.
Early Milord ( I think?) …no end pieces , no notch, ranger head.
One of the absolute favourite razors I have….its been well used but shaves sublimely.
The La Toja cream has a glossy shine to it and is very good indeed.
Close, smooth and never a disappointment. Today’s shave as expected. Spectacular!!

Yep. No end caps and unknurled ring above the turn knob. The Milord came before the Ranger Tech according to Achim’s @mr-razor website. So without the end caps yours is a 1941. The first TTO Gillette came out with.

Antica Barberia Mondial Boar - The newest one to enter the stable (pen?) for me. It's still breaking in and hogging the lather but is more than capable of producing some first-rate foam. I love the aluminum handle and plan on getting the Zenith equivalent when it comes back in stock over at Gentle shave ( need to email the guy about that).
